That's not a display of lack of patience, that's a display for lack of common courtesy and having serious anger management issues (on the trucker's part) The bus merged in too close in front, but the trucker had to see the bus needed help, but refused to offer any, then doubled down and acted a fool. Just the tiniest amount of professional courtesy and defensive driving would not have cost anybody anything and that entire incident would never have happened. If I knew that truck driver drove for me, he'd be looking for other work.
Swiss Mountain Dog, tommymonza, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this. -
I cant see it really good on my phone but did the bus driver signal its initial lane change?
-
It's hard to say. Maybe not but he had moved over and gotten at least partially over IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK [although too close] but the truck driver would have none of slowing or braking. I also got the impression the truck driver then decided to get aggressive and accelerated (stayed in it at least) [rather than slow or brake] as the bus came into play. Dumb bus driver. Dangerous and aggressive truck driver with anger management issues.

Either way they both didn’t recognize hazards correctly and exhibited bad judgment.

Wow. Stupidity meets rage yet again.
Bakerman Thanks this. -
I think this happens far too often in today's society, people feel entitled to come into your lane thinking you should yield to them, when it is the exact opposite.
Don't think that I will, or should accommodate you because you don't know how to merge with oncoming traffic. It is your responsibility to safely merge.
Rant over, please return to your normal broadcast.drvrtech77, mjd4277 and JonJon78 Thank this. -
I agree with MJD, they should both be suspended- especially if there were kids on the bus. Two wrongs dont make a right and risking lives, especially kids, should not be tolerated.
drvrtech77 and mjd4277 Thank this.
