But hey, a Volvo 670 for a toyhauler? That's a lot of insurance and license/FET/Fuel tax fees to replace a dualie or F650...

i have a tall 20T that only just fit under the front to jack up truck (when tyres are inflated), but I really need to get a stuby jack as well because if i had a flat on the front my current jack would be useless. so im looking at getting a stubby around 10T

OK, here is a suggestion for you. Take it for what it is worth.
Far better to bend over for the service truck, than to bend over for the ambulance and emergency room docs, and then possible surgery when you F, uh Mess up your back.
Just my opinion. -
Their is no way I would try to make a living in trucking bus. with the cost of parts, tires, fuel and ins. no way, you guys have my ut most respect, trucking is the back bone of america all most like being a soilder.

sorta along the lines of what others have said, but make sure that the big capacity jack you buy will actually fit under something to jack up, especially when a tire is low/down!

Heck yea,
It was cheaper than a new dualie, and my old f-250 powerstroke was on her last leg. I retitled the volvo as a moterhome so the plates only run $112 a year, and its in storage when not is use so the ins. is next to nothing. Plus no cdl needed or weight stations to stop at, their are quite a few of us wannabee's pulling our travel tralers with class 8 trucks.
