What really matters is not the make, model, or size of the truck, but ones business savvy, ability to learn, and common sense that makes one successful....Years ago in my "spare" time", I leased a paid for '71 Ford F500 flatbed on with a direct shipper hauling pallets and tank crates, guess what, I made a lot of money at it.....Here we run a F250 & F350, in addition to having the Pete 362....Yeah, it's nice to have a shiny new truck, but is it making you $$$ or are you working for the truck?.....The guys I think are foolish are the ones being conned into a fleece purchase hauling for the same carrier they lease too, recipe for failure, or at the least unprofitable, but hey look at me, I got a new rig.....From what I see about you, you seem to be on the right track, never mind the naysayers, settle down young fella and keep going forward, good luck to you

I know this is a little bit of changing the subject, but do you guys sleep in your trucks?

I learned a long time ago that many of the people on these forums aren't here to help others.
Next time a super trucker calls you a broke ### bottom feeder, offer to compare books with them. Nothing shuts them up faster then when they see that you're pulling down a higher profit than they are.
And like a few others on here said. Whats important is what you're doing, not what they think you're doing.
