Yeah, if I had one, i'd keep it too. One thing that gives Apple an edge, IMO, is that they control the hardware and software. They have used that as an advantage in both security and performance. My guess is that your iPhone 7 is fast without any lagging. My 8+ certainly is.
Bought a new laptop.

Good thing about people who keep them long term. It gets the latest software for at least 5 years. No one on Android does this. Not even google for their pixel line.MidWest_MacDaddy and nredfor88 Thank this. -
The developer models shipped after WWDC had an A12Z Chip in it and that is basically a two year old Chip from the iPad lineup. Now we know why that A12 Chip seemed so over powered for an iPad... because it was intended to be their first Apple Silicon Chip... lol
Interesting Times... well, I’m my opinion... -
But at this current time I have a few apps that may or may not go native Apple silicon. Two of them are 32 bit, and that’s been holding me back from upgrading to Catalina as well. Luckily the primary apps I use, that I must have, will definitely be compiled on Apple silicon.
I won’t be an early adopter, but I’ll be buying one when the MacBook Pros get updated.MidWest_MacDaddy and jtaran06 Thank this.
