Bought my first truck *1989 Peterbilt 379*

Just stopping by; congrats on that truck, man. Sounds sweet. Waiting for pix, as well.

 

@NorthernMechanic ? I can't remember any of the other trucker / mechanics names on here, atm... there are a few... I need to write this stuff down.

Maybe pull the belts and take them to the store? Usually they can measure them and match them up.

 

That's actually what I do with my mowers. It works.

 

Call Peterbilt with the vin number and they should be able to look it up.

 

Seems like there are a couple of different possibilities like someone else said call Peterbilt with the vin number. I stopped to look on the truck I'm driving the numbers are gone lol

 

They sure don't last long, on the belts.

 

Just add to get a matched set . So that they tighten up the same.
