How do I become a dave redmon "EXTREME TRUCKER" lol

 

What a funny thread. First time reading.

I saw part of Ice Road Truckers maybe twice. It doesn't interest me one bit. Dave who?

Sounds like someone is lurking in the background and lashes out when someone talks negatively about his character. Are we doing google searches on our self? Staring in a mirror?

There's just as much drama here as there is on your show.

 

From the research ive done (as one day I would like to do it, one for the $$$,$$$ that you can make, and the people/wildlife)
Most parts are just snowy roads, that gets icy in places, it not till you hit the real north areas, is where you will be driving where shipping boats would coast along.
If you want to get some feel for the sort of conditions they drive along, go take a trip to a snow field... sure it may not compare to the real thing, but it would give you some idea.
And although the roads are heavily watched, you still must keep an eye on your speed, and the ice ahead, as its nature, and if the ice wants to break, it will no matter how many times you say no.

Welcome to TTR. Another member said earlier that your going to face people who don't like you due to what TV showed of you. But either way, just ignore it. Letting people get to you will just make you more mad.

If any of you in this thread are indeed serious about going up there, I highly suggest you all read every comment Prarie Boy makes. The man is for real. Has owned and operated transport companies in The Great White North for more years than a lot of us have been alive. He's a good guy and I'm sure would give you honest advice. As for me, only way I'm going up there is if I can team with Lisa.....

 

Of course anyone is welcome. First impressions go a long way. How you carry yourself goes along way. I don't even know the guy, but you have to admit the defense mode is funny. As easy as he gets mad, I don't see how he survives in the industry. He must go to bed with headaches.

If he plays a part that many don't like, then he'll have to accept the fact ones will react to his character. Show us the real Dave and maybe he'll get good responses.

 

Drop what? Were just calling it like we see it. He doesn't like people to say anything negative about him on the show. I have seen his post on other sites where he has got mad and lashed out because they were confronting his attitude. So he has come on here and didn't like what he saw and told everyone he is leaving but he comes back for more. When is the guy going to start acting like an adult instead of throwing temper tamptrins like a two year old. He wants to be treated like a two year old maybe he can get a guest appearance on Nanny 911. I watch the show every week for laughs and I do think Dave Redmon gives this industry a black eye with his attitude and anger issues. They guy is a ticking time bomb.

I was wrong he has two fan's Lantern and American Trucker.
