Any show that is promoted as reality is staged. TruTV even admits in it's slogan that it's not reality.

 

Its like DEADLIEST CATCH , seldom do they show anything thats filmed with calm seas , nice weather ( and yes it does not ALWAYS storm where they fish )

 

So cops is staged?

 

Pure BS. Dave doesn't get ratings for that show, two female drivers driving big trucks and one in a bikini in a hot tub with a hot body get the ratings and that is why they are doing the commercial during the breaks. If you have noticed the last couple of shows they haven't showed to much of ole' Dave. I wonder why? Is it because he is a dumb ### and people have gotten tired of his attitude and all the #####in and complaining. Who wants to watch a show about some guy bitichin and complaining about everything, I don't. When he comes on the show I hit the mute button because I am tired of him wasting a few minutes of my life each week.

It is not a bad guy, villain or an outlaw. Every year they have a dip #### on the show to make Rick Yemm look like he knows what he is doing. The first and second season they had Drew, the third season Rick was by himself. The fourth season they had Greg Boadwine and then came Dave Redmon.

 

Yes, those guys do a good job acting like crimminals on that show. One of my favs.

I don't think I would use that particular descriptor. I would simply say he's a sell-out. Sold his soul to a big corporation for money and fame. Hope it was worth it.
