Dave Redmon proved to be a loudmouth and a dumba** when he did the first show, most dangerous roads or something, he was so disrespectful to the people where he was, and Rick from IRT and Lisa from Carlisle were there to... Rick and Dave were absolute perfect "Angry Americans"... I heard Dave was so disliked on IRT from another website... I can see why... Sadly this is how he represents American Truck Drivers, what a shame....

 

And that's what I like about Dave from IRT. Doesn't take #### from nobody. If more people were like that, maybe most drivers in the US wouldn't be getting bent over and saying thank you sir may I have another.

 

Don't worry bout them dave, they're just jealous you got to hang out with lisa in India, and in Alaska

To be fair - I don't think you get a true idea of what anyone is like from a show like IRT. These shows are highly edited and in many cases I believe the producers create situations to push people's buttons.

 

Just like i said in the IRT thread, its a TV SHOW, rememeber they cut and edit just like I do on YouTube to make the show what they want it to be.....What you see on TV isnt always how things went down in real life.

You Wanna see the real dave, check out both of his YouTube Channels (both made BEFORE he ever did the Ice Roads or India), or look at his Facebook page.....a month or so ago he did a motorcycle ride for charity.....Sounds like a real jerk huh?


and reguardless of how you like his character on TV, on HERE he is still a TTR member, and should be treated like any other member.

I think that Tony character that's working for Carlisle is an idiot, Dave just called him on his BS and Tony blew his fuse, I understand he's a trainer but there's a correct way to train and I don't believe he did that. Dave makes some good points on the show, but you have to understand they're looking for ratings at the same time and it's probably unfortunate that Dave got picked as the villain, gotta have a story line you know. For anyone to think that show is 100% accurate is crazy, I watch it for the entertainment value, but it is an embarassing depiction of todays driver. As for Mr. Redmon, they must have liked something about you because they made you solo long before that other new driver, the chick, who has yet to even be released from training.

 

Knowing someone who's on a Discovery channel reality show, this is the absolute truth.

"Reality" TV? Um...no. Cheaper actors though! Most work for free.

 

He needs to go back to Alabama and haul chickens to the west coast.

 

Trust me American-Trucker... I would never be jealous of Dave, or want to hang with Lisa in Alaska, Canada or India... I'm not getting bent over by anyone because I choose my employer carefully and go in with both eyes wide open... If you think being a loud foul mouthed driver is something to aspire to then I seem to have misjudged you from all I have read here... oh well...

*And I also am a TTR member and allowed to have my opinion or is because he's a TV star make him a hero??? I do charity rides all the time and don't post it on FB or you tibe because I don't need nor do I look for any praise for being a decent person. He may well be a really great guy but most of the people watching that show or any other show about drivers don't know what we do in our private lives, only what we show them out on the road... calling people foul names because they chose to not help isn't my idea of a way to make friends and influence people.
BTW, he must have done the things to be able to "edit" it to make it better though... just my opinion...
