American Trucker

 

spend a winter running 80,70,90,94, or any other roads thur the mtns out west, then decide if you want to go north to becoone the next IRT. Only diff , running ice/ snow coverd roads down here, you have pavement underneath the ice and snow.

 

Again, I said he did what he did on the show, he was a loud mouth and rude... editing or not... and again, he may be a great person in private but that's not what we saw... and I don't believe everything they show but loud and obnoxiousis tough to miss.

Again, just my opinion... I wouldn't ever do a reality show because it's not my thing but hey, to each their own...

EXACTLY !!! A lot of the drivers on this site would have no problems whatsoever running thru Canada and up to Deadhorse, Alaska.

The Alaska Highway itself that begins at Dawson Creek, British Columbia is a beautiful driver. When we started running up there the pavement ended at mile 86 and didn't start again until we got to the Alaska border at mile 1202.

Now it's paved all the way and the steep hills have been cut down such as Trutch Mountain which now yo travel the valley instead of going over the top,. Steamboat Mountain, Sikkani Chief etc.

 

Umm, did ya watch the show? Unless he was reading from a script, or was somehow temporarily possessed, then he IS in fact the jerk we all think he is.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... yep.

 

From day one of the show dave came off as a super trucker that dident need any training then couldent get up the first hill, don't they have they own camera setup in the truck? Makin it so nobodys feeding them lines?

 

Yes they do have camera's but with all the cut a pasting they do on this show it never is really what happens, and maybe he couldn't make it up the first hill because he was doing what his trainer TONY told him to do. You need to be in this gear, not that gear, and if he would have just let him drive the truck and gave him direction, instead of telling him what to do he would have made it up that hill. Tony is a jek......

 

I'm with you on that..I thought Tony was a condescending jerk..Dave's been around and didn't need somebody acting like a preschool teacher telling him what to do every second. No 2 people drive alike, aparently Tony doesn't get that...everybody has to drive like him or they must suck ? and everybody should know by now after the "survivor" era, that shows, show you what they want and edit to make people look a certain way. Dave showed alot of class sticking up for Lisa in India, I guess ya'all forgot about that?

Take it how you want. It made me revise my decision about him.

I welcome him, even if I didn't like him, I'd still welcome him. No point of holding anything over him is you don't know him personally. Take that show like you would as gossip.
