Agreed. And yes, Its 6 of one - and a half-dozen of the other.
I hook my 2 tiedown chains for back of car on my headache rack, but i can reach that from the ground.

I have seen steps with chain hangers on the front side of the step under the top deck. easy to get to but I would imagine they get covered with road spray unless you have full fenders.

Some good organization.Like the separate slots for chains, good ideaWhen I retired after 45 years of this,I never realized how many chains and binders(and other stuff) I was really carrying, not to mention the extra weight. This what I found once I cleaned my trailer out before I sold it.Yes,I was really carrying all of this, just kept accumulating it over the years, never realized I had so many chains and binders.

I always wanted an old Maserati.
Got the chance to buy two different units - on two seperate occasions - then a good motor.
    Smiles for miles.
    This was just for me.

Yes, I know what you mean.
My clothes started shrinking around the middle lately.
I can still get into the red lady, tho.
Took out a new Nissan Z car this weekend, and he didnt know what hit him.
They are real fast; but this old bag of bolts surprised him.
Young yuppie type. He kept trying, but I got the jump on him. He was pissed.
