Boycott Lumpers

that's right, they would stand on the ground, ask what i had, and gave me a price....some would be on the cb radio...anyone recall what a cb radio was..???

 

Sometimes there would be good fights when one was too cheap. LOL

Not unless the CB is hooked to the internet. LOL

 

While lumpers are a pain, I understand why some companies go that route.
What gets me is that they take FOREVER to unload. 3-4+ hours and still want $500+. I shouldn't have to wait for you to put the product back in storage. Get it off the truck, do your count and send me on my way. That way you don't have 80 trucks waiting.
Granted I don't deal with them as often anymore switching to a non-reefer company

Same here with a hopper bottom. I don't miss them either.

 

Yea I dont miss that grocery warehouse and cold storage crap. Those places are just stupid. They crap on the poor driver trying to do his job.

 

ever heard of CON struction ? 1/3rd of those guys building your house rebuilding that 60yr old bridge ect. are ex cons.

 

Yep so was the last CON tractor we had doing some things for us it turned out.

 

They aint all bad my dude , some guys just in wrong place at wrong time . But its not an environment for limp wristed snowflakes thats for dam sure .
