I did notice that the TA in Cartersville, GA expanded their reserve spots to include the whole perimeter of the lot. Still not going to boycott them... it’ll just go on my schedule C if I have to pay.

I guess if you're an owner-operator, you're SOL. Maybe write it off as an expense.
The last two companies I worked for paid for it if you had a receipt. Turn the receipt in with your paperwork and the amount would be in your next paycheck.

So all parking is reserved now? Wtf! I do like the food. But I never go there any way now. I can't fuel there. The food and showers are so much better than j pilot joints.

I know it isn't Lodi.......Unless they decided to make 120 spots reserved

I'm gonna guess either T-5 or Youngstown

or they got that 1 down on 70 west of Columbus

i do not believe it is the ELD that's the problem. maybe drivers leaving thier trucks there and taking a ride to a motel, or home?

it could also be that some drivers stay longer than anticipated taking up what spaces that place has. like say for instance a 34 reset?

you can not blame that particular truck stop for what's going on, cuz first and foremost, you really DO NOT KNOW the whole story!

and one more thing, the last letters in your name are....ATM....

in a way, you ARE, an ATM.!

save your receipts and turn them in for reimbursement,s like many of us have done, and still do to this day.

or, get a job like me, local, home daily, no truck stops needed??????

No its not Lodi, I frequent that location a lot, matter fact they reduced the number of reserved spots because no one was using them.

When i was otr, I never had a problem getting my company to reimburse for reserved parking when i used it. But i only used it when i knew i would be hitting a certain truck stop after 2100 or so.

Whats really annoying is when you reserve a spot and roll in after 2300 and find half the lot empty.

On your trip planning then you just book your reserved spot in advance, drive the hours you planned with no worry of having a spot to park. Wonder if they have a problem of over booking yet?
