I've been hearing good things about both companies. I have a few companies on my list and right now, it's like trying to play cups, with something underneath each cup and I've no idea which one to go for. I don't see a forum for WTI even though I've seen a few posts on them. I just don't know what to do. Is there anyone here that has worked for both companies could shed some light on their differences? (like if ones pays more than the other etc). Or should I just flip a coin and see which one wins?
Boyd or WTI

they're both about the same from what I know of them
ThatFlatbedGuy2013 Thanks this. -
In a nutshell, they basically are the same company. WTI is just a spin off of Boyd. There are some old threads from a couple years ago about both and their ties with each other.

WTI is owned by Boyd. They are about 200 trucks strong. They pay pct and Boyd is mileage pay. that is the main difference. benefits, equipment and running lanes are similar. wti is more concentrated in the south and they also do more oversize than Boyd does. Both also do lease purchase programs
-
Yeah, been running with WTI for the past 3 weeks or so. So far so good.

does wti have paper logs or elogs?and how often do they do oversize?that is why i left jordan they do to much oversize and dont pay any extra unless you cant run at night which is bs because if its oversized you should get paid extra for the headahe of running permits, lights, banners ect
-
Don't know. I haven't hauled any oversized yet. But I've heard it happens. There run paper but good luck cheating on them. I've snipped a few hours here and there but you. Won't get away with running two.
