I would argue that this brake check went right. Brake checks only go wrong when something bad happens to the brake checker and not intended victim of the brake check.Muddydog79, Doealex, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this.

The video doesnt show if the driver cut some one off in their aggressive (0:09) lane merging. The driver went across a lane rather aggressively to the point he may have cut off the van at a earlier point in the vid. We only see what is infront of the truck. Yes the white van was innapropriate for trying to squeak in at 0:22. Yes the white van is a hit and run with out the hit, They caused an accident and didnt stop. Hopefully the vid has enough details that the police can get the plate #. Yet the trucker is still at fault for their aggresive driving.

Got what he deserved. Jerk, makes all truck drivers look bad. I bet the van driver felt validated and then the gall to post this, like he's right.
Roberts450 and Opus Thank this. -
That is one jerk truck driver. Hope it took out his whole right side. The silver SUV saved his rearend from a complete catastrophe.

kinda tuff to say. in some vids, we can see the truckers mirrors, either the door of fender, and see what's going on behind him. this video, we simply cannot see all that much, and assume that the trucker cut someone off. i'd be thinking that as the lane was coming to an end, the white van was in that right lane, and the trucker just could not move over. so if that is the case, then the white van driver should have backed off, and got behind the trucker, then carry on with life.
but we all know that all drivers, truckers, and 4 wheelers alike have a "me first" attitude.
so who really knows what happened?
most likely, the trucker and the van driver.Bean Jr., 201 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.
