The brake lights on trailer are not working. Checked fuse in glove compartment, notvthe problem. Removed trailer lights to check connections, not the problem. Doesn’t seem to be a problem with the pig tail connection. Someone told me there is another fuse box under the hood. Is this true? Looked all over and don’t see one. Might be rightvin front of my face Ha

Well, if it's not a problem with the pigtail.

Logic SHOULD dictate it's not the fuse box in the truck.

You probed the pigtail with a test light to make sure there's power at the appropriate terminals for tail, brake, turns?

If you have done what snowwy said..mayby spray some brake cleaner into the trailer plug..enough to let it run out. I have to do that once in awhile when hooking to a trailer thats been setting, or just has like a varnish on the plugs.
