If it's only been for three months I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Just do a proper Pre-Trip and you should be fine.

I do a pre-trip. I just get nervous cause I'm not real mechanically inclined. I can describe whatever the problem is well. If it's making noises, where it's coming from, where vibrations might be, whatever the problem. I just can't fix it.
Always good to have a "man" around when you need em.
