I have a picture of the ABS light on, along with the traction control.....

But Freightliner in Coburg OR can't find any codes from the ABS. The ever present air leak won't leak while I'm in this parking lot. I can't win.

Did anybody look at slack adjusters?

Yes. Kind of. Today at the dealer they checked the abs fault codes, and got something that was incomprehensible to our fearless service writer. Poor dear still thinks the problem is something in the calipers, on my drum brakes. Something about something being out of alignment by a few degrees. She couldn't be any clearer than that. However, the tech did note that the front brakes are "severely glazed". I questioned this, (I don't feel like I use brakes excessively on hills or any other time to heat them up enough to do that, but I would like to know if I'm abusing the truck without realizing it) but they couldn't tell me if it was the rears too. (they don't look like it to me but the fronts don't look so bad to me either). They are going to replace those. The tech did note that one of the front brakes was out of adjustment by a little bit. Only a couple of clicks, but up to this point they have been ok. So someone suggested that that could be the cause of glazed brakes. I can't seem to get a straight answer on if they want to replace or check out the slack adjuster as well, but that will all be in a few days. They didn't have the brake drums in stock to replace those today.

I had a similar problem. Turns out one of the air lines had rubbed against the frame and had worn a slight hole in it. Whenever I applied the brakes hard the brake on the wheel with the leaking brake line would suddenly grab and the steering wheel would jerk.

A mechanic at a TA heard the leak hissing when I stepped on the brake with the engine off. I couldn't hear it from inside the cab.
