Braking my head

    Alright mechanics good afternoon starting off freightliner century detroit 60 series 12.7 . Prior you my new inframe rebuild which I got 5k miles on my my temperature driving under load even pulling from 0 to start driving will start gradually to climb up some times when pulling a load uphill it goes all the way to 211 to 215 I hit fan clutch at at about 205 and it will still climb will gradually start coming down a little . It's got fresh inflame with new head , new radiators , new waterpump about 1 year ago new thermostats new temp sensor new fanclutch as well I made sure no air pockets are present I'm loosing my mind already new temp gauge as well

    I THINK he means hes worried hes overheating, dont know when the fan temp switch is supposed to kick in on those detroits automatically

    The problem is that temp fluctuations like that aren't normal and I'm afraid of overheating the fan clutch kicks on about 208

    Temp sounds normal to me. Flat roads mine will run 181-183. Climbing if it’s a decent sized climb it’ll go right to 210 and kick on the fan automatically. Normally I just turn the fan on manually around 190 or so. Even if I don’t catch it until 200 it’ll take a few seconds to reverse the temp.

    Running flat under load at times it stays at 187 but jumps to 200 easy

    Why not take it back to the shop that did the work and ask them?
