You'll be happy with the 6nz. Question is the 18 spd new or reman? I am assuming you bought the truck with rears put in from Peterbilt then had your glider builder place in the motor and trans. I know of guys who have put a reman trans in and guys who have provided their own new trans.

It's a reman Eaton 18 speed 2250 torque clutch and tranny with oil to water cooler
Terry270 Thanks this. -
If you could please give me some feedback on those rears after you pull a few loads with it.
-
I'm sure with the 18 spd and the amount of low end torque the Cat 6nz has, your not gonna have any issues. Just want to see how you like the combo with high rubber. Good luck with it man.

Nice truck. If my business model didn't require me to go to California I would consider getting one. I looked at a used 2014 KW900 glider that was much cheaper than a comparable factory model.
-
Well keep in mind all you have to do is install a particulate filter to be California compliant
bluerider Thanks this. -
And the rumor is DEF fluid goes away next year something about it's killing the trees along the highway in California

My goal for this truck would someday be to have it burn a mixture of 60/40 diesel to propane fuel...
-
Propane or natural gas doesn't produce the power that diesel can so I figured a mixture 6040 diesel over Natural Gas would produce close to the same power yet clean up my emission footprint
