Idk I change my mind all the time. The money is great right now and so are miles. But id like to get my own place and be able to enjoy it. Id be here til a least april. I get whipped easily over girls lol so I'm sure something will happen by april where I'll end up staying. The perfect thing for me is what you have right now. Home every weekend but I live in phx and don't believe they offer that.

Joker, as you know I'm doing a 6 out 3 home. Just got home, go back at 0800 friday. For me an old married dude it's great, averaged 2400 milkes the last 2 times out. Schneider has the new qualcomm and each pre-assignment you get they want you too tell them your ETA and your next time your available, hrs left to run ect. They give you the appt time, but if you can get there earlier let them know and customer service will try to set you up earlier. You update each day the ETA and NTA if it changes. You would porbably figure out the system quicker then me. But each time out (been their 3 weeks) it's getting easier. All this is done on the qualcomm, ETA,NTA ect. Howevever you don't send messages on the qualcomm you call them if you have questions or need help. They have planners on duty 24/7. Now I know what I'm doing, I'm going for 2800 to 3000 miles next time out. Last time out I went from Con Agra in Modesto to the Wal-Mart DC in Grandveiw Wash. Then Tree top in Moxie Wash to Starbucks in Auburn. Then Furniture row in Fife Wash to Spokane, then USK (Ponderay), took that to the S.F. Chronicle in Fremont. Then up to Oakland and dropped in the French Camp teminal and off for home time. The routing is on the Qualcomm GPS and that's what you follow, got the Rand Mc Nally 710, but follow there GPS if it's slightly different. Gotta admit, I like it alot. Also if you need fuel, you get fuel at any Pilot, FJ, or Loves, or at one of there terminals. You don't have to get permission. Been to the Portland, Fontana, and French Camp terminals. 3-5 showers in each, with towels, bathmat, soap ect. Even has a attendant on duty to clean them. They gotta lot of home time options, you can stay out as long as you want. I liked May, but here they expect you to know what your doing and don't micro manage you. I'm a professional complainer and so far I'm I'm pretty happy.

    What did I miss?
You were a bigger May shill than Trucker Steve lol
btw, I still love May, they were a great company for me, when I needed them, but I wouldn't give up my current job for anything. Home 3 days a week, and taking home $1k+

i have found out with freightliner, do not go to the big places, go to the smaller ones

columbia missouri is one of my best places to go, they usually have me in and out in a few hours. whereas nearby kansas city or st louis would be two or three days for the same service (or lack, thereof)

May is a great entry level company .. But for being an owner/op I need to go to a company that is more set for experience.
