Breaks at fuel island

    I think these guys are all taking 2hr brakes 4 deep here. Is this how ita done? Been here 40 minutes already not even close to the fuel island.

    There about 20 trucks behind so cant back out now.

    I wasnt actually taking a BREAK. My BRAKES were frozen, I was stuck.

    There a 2 hr wait for a shower so thats what the hold up is. The guys up front are waiting for there shower.

    They are changing their diapers and found they need a hazmat shower after.

    I think it's ok to take breaks at the FUAL island but taking a break at the FUEL island is frowned upon

    Here is your answer from an owner operator, me.

    When I get to the pump there is 4 trips across the parking lot to pump fuel because the pump card reader ONLY accepts mega corporate fuel cards.

    1. Walk across the lot and wait for everyone in line in front of you to be served to tell the cashier I want to buy fuel.

    2. Walk back across the lot to pump fuel.

    3. Repeat step 1 to pay for the diesel.

    4. Return to truck.
