Wyoming wanted to get me. Coming down the 25 from montana. But i used mouthwash before going in. Now i use them halls cough drops. The minty flavor. Before arriving at the port.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
The rule is if you test positive on a breathalyzer they re test you in 15 minutes because any alcohol on your breath from mouthwash is gone within 15 minutes of use. We had a guy try to claim his positive was from mouthwash and that's the protocol the DOT test collector followed. Of course he failed the re test. Lol.Toomanybikes and Blackshack46 Thank this.

I'm guessing if they are sending someone to take over load because they wanna talk to him, his employment with them will be over during that talk, they just want the truck back
What was the reason the scale wanted to give him a portable breathalyzer test? -
Before they test the first time they have to allow the time for any residual alcohol to evaporate and make sure nothing is in the mouth.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
SCALE??

Hubby was originally pulled over and weighed...apparently he was loaded too heavy one one axle (from what i remember hubby saying)...so he moved things around to fix it...and was ok....the man at the eight station told him to grab his papers and come...so he did...and then was told to blow on the breath test...he didn't think anything of it, because he hadn't drunk any alcohol.
and Trooper, yes, you're right about the location
what does that mean?

What weigh station was it?
