    I just wanted to update you all:

    My husband got a lawyer and fought the charges, and over $1,000 later, the case got dismissed.
    The lawyer let it slip that the man at the weight station did some things wrong, but he didn't exactly state what.

    And the company that fired him over this ORIGINALLY told him that as he searched for jobs elsewhere, he should just say: "I wanted a job with more miles"...and that they would fully support him in saying it (while he fought the charges)...

    They instead threw him under the bus, so to speak, and told his potential employer that he was FIRED, due to disciplinary action!!!

    So the person at the weight station was not adequately trained or was otherwise somehow at fault since the changes were dismissed. It also appears your husband has suffered and continues to suffer financial loss due to the wrongful or negligent actions of that employee. If it was me I would check into possibly being compensated for these loses. In any event good luck to you and yours.

    Yes, Hubby has managed to find more jobs, luckily... The smaller companies don't check you out as much it seems...and this job he just got is a bigger company, who did check, and hubby had to get papaperwork to prove the case was dismissed.
