I've measured about 20 Covenant trailers so far and found them all to be consistent (Great Dane, Hyundai, & Wabash), but as a disclaimer this may not always hold true. Definitely measure if your trailer has 6" spacing between tandem holes as the ones I've measured have all had 4" spacing).
You can find bridge laws for each state online, or in your truckers' atlas (usually as a footnote to allowed trailer lengths). Covenant's now defunct long beach terminal used to hand out a cheat-sheet too, but I haven't seen it at Pomona, Hutchins, or Chattanooga. I'm going by the cheat sheet & the Rand McNally 2012 truckers atlas...
