Please sure you tell us what you actually net, not gross after your fuel, after your maintenance on your used truck that you’re renting, your insurance for your truck, your fees for your people net, their policy’s that treat you like a company driver example only allowing you to run 65 miles an hour, give me over-the-top overbearing maintenance fees and stress to say you have the “opportunity” to actually be a true real “lease” operator.
Oh and no benefits, plus your a 1099 employee.
Oh and let’s not forget, 4/5 loads a day. How long you been there, 3-6 months?
Let’s see if you can crack a full year buddy, they will starve you out soon and force you to quit and break the contract which I’m sure you didn’t have a lawyer overlook, then essentially got you to work for free and give to the grace of paying them with your last settlements being negative.

Also, I haven’t had a bad experience because I haven’t been foolish enough to go.
$12,400. That’s how much more you take home than I do after taxes @ 30 %, which is a conservative estimation on my part.
To me, it’s not worth taking all the risk, stress, manipulation by management, repairs, coming into work on your one day off to fix things, oil changes etc, provide uniforms, and still NO BENEFITS.
To each his own man, if it works then it works and congratulations. Just please don’t talk to me like your some oil school hand that who was just looking for a job with nabors worrying about your convictions six years ago.
I’ve been at this over a decade.
This isn’t an attack on you. I’ve known personally very hardworking an intelligent men who have gotten really screwed by the way Bridger operates its business. Now this was 3-4 years ago and things may have changed. I’m also speaking specifically about the Permian Basin, I don’t know where you are.
I just want to protect other drivers that may see your posts and not have experience in this business and assume that everyone can come on board and make 182k/year and it’s gonna be all gravy.
You’re fortunate to have what you have going for you. Keep up the hard work. Good luck.
