Yeah. A dualsport might be a better option if given the space. Better riding and more versatile to get around and have some fun.

I’d be interested in seeing a video on loading and unloading with your setup. I bought a dual-sport to put on the back of my truck and modified a pickup truck crane to lift it up there. All the work was for nothing, with the crane on there I couldn’t get it to swing into the rack.

I got kind of discouraged with it and the brand new bike has been sitting home for two years.

It has a winch attached in front of the bike. They probably have a ramp setup that can be removed. The higher ground clearance allows for a steeper ramp as well.

That's not my rig. Sorry about that. I should have mentioned that.

I parked next to that at a truck stop a few weeks ago. Never saw the driver. I wanted to get more info.

It's something I would love to do also. My truck is only 265 inch wheelbase with a headache rack. Not enough room.

What kind of truck do you have? I have a Prostar 244" with a large headache rack spaced off the back with the muffler and still have about a foot minimum in a turn.

A 2002 Pete 379. I thought about removing headache rack and putting chains and binders in boxes under trailer.

But it might be a good thing I don't bring a dual sport bike. I might not get any work done. Just ride. Lol

Figured you might have a hood. Yeah, the space is more limited there.

Found somebody selling a new dual-sport on craigslist and had to do some research.

Saw a dual sport on the front of a Volvo. It looked like a regular SUV hitch mounted unit (that swivels). Looked like they modified it to go into both tow hook slots. Was nice and low to the ground and easy to get on and off.
