Good luck! I have over a year, so I doubt my reason is a lack of a trainer. I wonder if they have trucks open. I'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks. I've been offered a job in Arizona instead so I am taking that offer but good luck to you as well!

My husband is currently training with Britton. He's been on the truck now 2 weeks and is very happy with his trainer and the company. He's fresh out of cdl school so he's going through their finishing program. They've kept him moving on recaps so far and he's really learning so much. He really thinks he couldn't have made a better choice and while the training might seem a bit long, we're both happy that he is getting such thorough training.

I think he made a good choice for a first company. This is the type of company where he doesn't need to "get your year in and find something better". I've been happy here almost 6 years. And don't see myself going anywhere.

Tell him if he sees the condo Freightliner with a flatbed, to stop and say hi. We have some condo Volvos on flatbed but only 1 condo Freightliner.

I will. He's actually taking his first 34 and has been in the yard practicing his backing.

Just got the settlement for his first week and we're both really happy. He ran 3300 miles and that was with having to shut down early one day to get an electrical problem looked at, a reset and then he lost a few hours a few days later with a blown trailer tire.

He's had a few hiccups here and there but he's very happy with Britton.

Its good to hear he is doing good. He will have hiccups the rest of his career no matter where you work. This company is real good at helping with the hiccups. I am having a hiccup right now. Have to take some time off i wasnt expecting. I have a cataract in my left eye. I guess i didnt realize it was as bad as it is. As long as im using both eyes, i see ok. But still didnt pass the DOT physical. So now i am working on seeing how quick i can get scheduled in for surgery, recover, and pass the vision test. I sure didnt expect this at 51. I was told about "a small cataract, off to the side. Nothing to worry about for years and years". Thats what the ophthalmologist said barely 18 months ago. Fun fun!
