Cat17, im hoping you get banned for such a statement. If you dont agree, fine. But I have been working for Britton for 6 years. Maybe the problem is not me or Britton. Maybe it is a problem with some drivers not being smart enough to get along well in any company. Have a good day.

There are well over 100 happy drivers at Britton Transport. MOST of the drivers I have seen that are unhappy at Britton are the job hopper types who seem to have trouble staying anywhere. Is Britton perfect? No. Is it for everyone? Probably not. But Britton is a good enough company that many of us like it. And a driver not liking it here does not make those of us that do like it here liars. Like any company, your opinion will vary. There are thousands of drivers happy at Swift. Would I be? Maybe. Would any person in particular like it there? No way to know. I wonder if Cat17 would call all the Swift drivers liars if he didnt like it there? Most likely. The fault certainly couldnt be his for having issues at a company.

Well, 3700 miles 2 weeks in a row. Loves everything. Gets a raise to .53 in 5 months, .47 in 2 months. But now is taking home $1460 a week. Guess he got ahead.

Since my husband was asked by the top manager to stay more than once Ed I think the problem is Britton. BTW, did they steal any referral fees from you? I understand flatbead has 20 drivers, a different building and dispatch that used to drive. Be honest Ed, your area is not anything like the rest. Britton lies, has horrible equipment, doesnt dispatch for ####. My advice, Do Not Go To Work For Britton. Where There's Smoke There's Fire. Oh BTW, how about your W2's. Never have I worked for a company that waits until the last day to get those filed! Really on the ball. A joke of a company. Worse than most because they used to be good and now rather than fix the problems they just knowingly lie to you . Hell, everyone in the office is so busy taking personal time its no wonder nothing gets done.

    Hi Ed,
Im considering employment with Britton. The problem is like many companies they dont disclose untio u pass beyond the orientation or training phase
Then most people learn they have been tricked or didnt make the wise decision. Can you be honest with us on this forum and tell what rookies or experience drivers should expect there as far the pay, contract, or these socalled bonuses? We just asking some honesty here not trying to make unmarried drivers feel like jerkoff scumbags. Thank you in advance!!

I'll be honest with you when I come in from the pool. There are worst places to work. Ed can't tell you. He isn't working with most drivers. His judgment is curved.
