I've been averaging right about 2400 miles a week. Some guys are up around 2700 to 2800. I've been taking a bit more time off this summer for personal reasons. That's one thing I like here. They are really flexible with home time. Within reason you can run as hard as you want.

I like everything I'm hearing about this company but even on elogs 3000 miles a week is easy to do.
-
3000 miles weeks are certainly possible, even with elogs. And I do have many 3000 mile weeks. But I don't want to run hard enough, week after week, to average that many miles a week. I like my home time once in awhile.six string Thanks this.

Congrats and welcome aboard. You're gonna be on flatbeds, right? Keep an eye out for me. I have the only tall double bunk cascadia. Easy to spot.
six string Thanks this. -
Yep flatbed. I've got 14 years of flatbed, I've been pulling a van for the past 3 years and miss flatbed.

Any owner ops from Britton on here? Curious about leasing on, I pull step deck now but looking to move back to reefer.

Well, I was just thinking that tomorrow is my 4 year anniversary with Britton Transport. I've been pretty happy here. They keep me as busy as I want to be. Pay a pretty good cpm. They don't pay a shell game with the cpm. If you call recruiting, and they tell you what cpm you'll get, that's before any bonuses. I drive a pretty decent truck. When I go to an office, either Grand Forks, or Sioux Falls, everyone says hi, smiles, and truly acts happy to see you. Not once in my time here has anyone from the offices been rude, or acted better than me. They've never acted like my being there was an imposition. All in all, it's a great place to work. This thread was started here by me to ask about Britton. It should be moved to the favorite trucking company section.

Hi Poundpuppy. Sorry I didn't see this post sooner. There is a guy named Lostnavigator that responds to this thread. He had been a company driver here, but just got the itch to buy another truck. Next time I see him, I'll tell him get on here. He could answer your questions.Pound Puppy Thanks this.
