broadband internet cards

I have a MiFi card, but will probably get rid of it soon and pay the early termination. I have a 3 gig a month for 35 bucks from verizion, that they are no longer offering. Since it is very rare that I even use 1 gig a month, then I will start to tether to my new smart phone.
But the plans on that have hanged also. They no longer have the unlimited data with verizions basic plans. So I will have to watch. Or eventually add more data. It has a 2 gig per month cap.
Not really an issue if I do not watch movies.
