yeah, my mechanic says that really they had even cracked drums when dumb driver depress brake fully with parking brake applied, but on newer trucks we used to install valves w/o protection and got no problems

It is not a joke, this kind of fittings never fail, and no leak. The problem is that if you fit plastic hose on it you cant pull it out!!!! The only way is to cut it with knife. Sometimes european air lines are so hard that I have to heat them with boiled water to fit these fittings. They are like a harpoons!!!!

Air suspention pressure is up to 10 bar in tank, but when truck runs and rocks stress air pressure is up to 20 bar!

Well, I gonna post you some shots of european fittings on trucks and some shots of european valves on US trucks with adapters.

those push lock fittings are the ones that i hate-the idea is good--but sometimes a pain to get off ,especially if you can only get one hand in there--then the #### things are hard to get to not leak when back together

if you pulled out harpoon from air line, the end is damaged, so cut about 3/4-1" of line and fit againe. This kind of fittings are secured so well, that to pull it out you need force that destois plastic line.
