Do you mean the 3/4 bolt that goes through the spring eye and leaves?
If so, it's probably corroded in place. Try an air chisel with a bit that can fit inside the bolt hole and use that to hammer on the broken end of the bolt while someone else works an impact gun on the head or nut of the bolt that's left. Eventually it should free up.
There is a u-bolt just to the rear of that bolt and two horizontal bolts in front of it, might try to loosen those a tad before working on the assembly bolt.Last edited: Nov 22, 2017
olebertha601 Thanks this. -
Put the jack on the edge of the hanger. Raise it up until the tension is off. It might be froze in there. Spray a lot of penetrating fluid and let it sit. I just changed my bushings on my air leaf. One bolt I had to heat up a lot, the other side just pop right off. Good luck.

I dont know how to upload a pic of the bolt but yes its the 3/4 x 5" bolt that goes thru vertically on the front end of the spring assembly infront the hanger. Never changed one before and didnt know if it was just being stubborn or i needed to release tension on the bolt first. Im sure glad you knowledgeable truckers are here to help us out. Thanks so very much~!
