Dunno what the terrain is like out your way but IMO a log hauler is usually a higher skilled driver than the average OTR driver if you're hauling out of the mountains in adverse conditions on a regular basis.

This how out of date I am…. Finished an outdoor kitchen for a friend of mine, they loved it, his wife asked if she could send me an e transfer, I said I don’t need e, call me when you have cash for me. My buddy said he peed a little laughing when his wife told him my answer

There’s a story that went around I have no idea if it’s true. A guy came into a chip mill right at closing time. They let him dump, but the ramp wouldn’t let back down once it was all the way up. They told him he would have to leave his truck there overnight since the maintenance had already left. The guy said that would be fine, except for the fact his son was up there in the truck.
