Our truck got broken is going to take thousands and thousand to get it fix. The dilemma is whether invest that money and fix it or get a new one and fix the other later. Any advise will be appreciated! Thanks Estrella
What year make and model is the truck and what’s the repairs needed? That’s kinda important info for anyone to answer your question. Now isn’t the best time to buy any trucks.
Star, you'll have to count the numbers and compare what you have invested so far to what you'll have to spend to start all over again on another tractor. 6 in one hand versus half a dozen in the other so to speak.
As said above, year make model Also engine and transmission and Define "broken" Also, how deep are your pockets? Too little information to say more.
Sorry i forgot to add this Truck is Volvo 2014 Engine problems will cost over $15,000 I think that is a lot
680,000 miles. There is issues with the ideal gear the one that is a fuel power steering pump connected to the engine. I hope you know someone that can work on that
I'm guessing they will be rebuilding the engine with that price and current mileage. It can be worth if depending on the condition of the rest of the truck. If they rest is in good shape and you have not had any major issues with the after treatment system ( Regen/DEF ) then it would be worth running the truck.
