I have many many many years experience, but I have been out of the industry too long for anyone to lease me on. So at this point that's my only option.
Like I said earlier I'm not afraid to negotiate with anyone or Stand My Ground it's just that I'm not quite sure as a new carrier how far I can push that.
Aside from not getting paid, detention and TONU are my biggest concerns. It just seems that everything is situated in such a way that you will make money then you'll make money then you will make money and all of the sudden your load is cancelled and you make nothing or very little. Or you are delayed somewhere so long that you can't get to the next days load and you've lost money.
I'm trying to figure out how to minimize that the best that I can.
