Broker gave me wrong delivery date

    Well you can come down in negotiations! but you can't add to it if they agree to low for you, I'd start at $500.00 don't go less then that.

    I dont know which broker you are dealing with but if you got the response of "hes gonna get me some extra money but dont know how much." that is normally a warning flag for me. Any broker that will actually pay a layover charge already has a set rate, there should not be any guessing. Best of luck to you.

    I would reccommend calling the broker back and asking to switch the dates or ask why it changed. Calling in with your chest pushed out demanding $500 is just going to get you booted off of the load. If they dont want to pay for laytover or cant get the dates switched back, take a different load. Many times it is the customer changing what they want on their product, not the broker trying to be sneaky. They want the load comleted as early as possible as well.
