Broker holding trailer hostage with load

    A load of flowers has been rejected because of temp complaint, they sent me for a download from Thermos King, which was done the same day, result is my trailer working completely find temp stays the same at 35. So now I'm CYA, I take it back to the receiver they see the download and still don't want it, with no reason now, had this load for 2 days broker basically holding it in my trailer looking for new buyers.. It's about to be 3 days now.. What can I do?

    Negotiate with them. Make them send a new rate con. $400 a day minimum for holding the trailer and they pay for print out from thermal king… if it’s a big brokerage get the head quarters involved.

    What does the broker packet you signed when you set up with them say about this scenario? They likely have that base covered and you are screwed.
