His mc# is 147619. I checked their Google reviews and looks like this particular individual does this #### all the time to other carriers. If I were you I would put him in "to do not do bussines with" section.

Original RC states TONU will be paid.
So to invoice for said tonu you need them to send a new rc with correct amount.

You need to be at the shippers ready to get loaded or at least tell the crooks that you are to get anything out of them?

All I was pointing out is if it's not on the contract it's not owed.
Yes the broker can offer payment that's not in a contract to keep a good relationship, but it's not owed.
That said, he did clarify it is in the contract so my point is moot anyway.

He sure can but; who cares? All FG is is a place to post your negative experiences with Carriers. You can add a response and defend yourself if you care enough about it. You can also do the same exact thing here on TTR about how bad the broker is.

Freight Tec was the first broker to be added to my, "Do Not Haul" list. I created it specifically because of them. Guess what? They did the same exact thing to me on a Baltimore load. It was coming out of Ruckerts or Steinway. Let me tell you, he did you a favor. They both suck and so do their rates.

Anyway, you really need to get your accessorials worked out in advance (in writing and preferably on the rate con) to avoid these issues and actually get paid for your time.

If you would have had a $250 TONU specified on writing he would had to get a truck for at least that amount cheaper for it to be worth cancelling on you. Odds are that never would have happened because it's already too cheap as it is. That TONU is incentive for scumbags to not play games.

Same goes with detention. Get it in writing ahead of time and it'll save you much hassle. Once you get pulled out of line to load ahead of other trucks because they know it's costing them money for you sitting you’ll really be a believer, my friend.

He doesn't get anything because he's not an Owner Operator.

Incorrect. You invoice as agreed on the prevailing rate con since it's the "contract" with the corresponding terms clearly written on it. Asking and waiting for a new contract/rate con essentially forfeits your rights/agreement to original payment terms. If a broker sends one on their own before you invoice then roll with it but waiting for one is a huge mistake that will indeed get you burnt if you have to file a claim on their bond.
