Broker Issued Load Exceeding Cargo Value

DO you have proof (written or text message) that they instructed you to remove the protective plastic and just tarp it?

Or was it a verbal request?

Why did you follow their instructions anyway?

Tarp it as is, if there is plastic, leave it on there.

Get a lawyer.

 

Boy really .Come on anyone here that has ever ran there own authority has to know this isn’t a real situation. If it was as soon as the claim was filed against his insurance the insurance company would have already talked to this guy and would have been told what to do.when he took the load the broker already knows what the carrier insurance limit is.So the broker would demand him buy a trip increase of the value or he wouldn’t book it .since he didn’t someone else either shipper or consignee has a transit policy to cover the costs.
