See? Sell the junky old trucks and open a little office somewhere. Home every day, no major expenses biting you on the butt, and you can come on here telling us how honest you are and how little money you're really making.Dino soar, Lumper Humper, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this.

Probably a soft 15% like everyone else.
The no credit, bad credit, trash credit, everyone is approved, makes me think it's above my ethical threshold.Lumper Humper and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Why not go directly to the shippers and get your own loads. Why should the driver dictate what a broker makes? If you as a driver agree on the rate what does it matter.
JimmyTwoTimes, Midwest Trucker, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this. -
Why not keep the existing regulations then?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

That’s what I’m saying. If you don’t want to pay for the service “brokers” don’t use them. No one works for free.
Midwest Trucker and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Besides here is how it would go
Trucker- what are you getting for the load?
Broker- 2k
Trucker- I won’t haul it for a penny less than 2kRideandrepair Thanks this. -
Depends. If that was a dry van short haul in Southern Oregon, you wouldn't even put on your shoes.Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
-
Irregardless of what someone does, the original question still stands.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

49 code of federal regulations section 371.3
it’s already there so keep the regs the same because no one asks even though you can.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
