Technically any one of us qualify as a 3pl. Don’t they ask you If and when you can deliver? We are the 3rd Party Lol.

You guys don't really know what a 3PL is, lol. 3PL is a service. There are a few huge 3PLs that do not have broker license. You do not need a broker license at all to be a 3PL.

3PLs take care of logistical needs. Big companies such as Hostess, IFCO and other companies don't have the man power to run a logistics department. So they outsource it to a company. That company doesn't need a broker's license to operate. It helps when you want to throw a load on the spot market to cover it but, usually 3PLs have a HUGE carrier basis that if a load doesn't get covered they can just send it within their network.

For how smart everyone acts surprising how ignorant people can be. Lol.

Can you say triple dipped brokering.
That is before the carrier gets their cut.
This is how I think of it.

    I'm just a salty driver.

You are salty, it's not triple dipped at all. If you take a load at anything less than what you want that's your fault.

    KB3MMX Thanks this.
