Brokers are thieves!!!

    Don't disagree with that either. I've seen many long term that went away because of the actions/in-actions of the carrier. The carrier/drivers start thinking that everything should be done their way and take too much liberty with it.

    Back when I ran my (non trucking) business. I was glad to see the backside of clients that only cared about the cost. They always were very demanding and insisting on below market rates. I'll gladly let them drive others out of business.

    I remember a certain broker in Savannah that openly bragged to A KTL dm that he took no less than $250.00 right off the top.

    Why? So they can go behind your back all over again? If they call you back, raise the rate. When they but but but say i will haul for you at the old price only on the condition of an exclusive contract.

    I work for UPS. No skin in this game. I've just met some brokers who are making a killing off your work ethic, and laughing their ##### off at you.

    It's my friend Chris' friends Ken and Nick. Ken is way better at it than Nick, but Nick is still learning the tricks of the trade. May want to see him about a load while you still can. He's new.
