What one would you like to use? I can send you any for the cheap price of 19.99 over Venmo. Screenshot 2023-03-27 at 1.45.51 PM.png

Every mile. Home to home. Total revenue minus fuel cost. Total actual miles, not roughly, almost, close to, pretty much, sort of. etc. Reminds me of the Leased O/O’s that say. Load pays blah blah. Mileage is always off some. But still it pays blah blah. They get their cut, but still that’s blah blah. Get a calculator. Very simple. Actual numbers. Per mile is important, but only a part of the picture. Add up total revenue. You’ll see I’m getting rich. Really? Everyone try’s to make $2000 a day. Who wouldn’t.

No. I don't assume that at all. My outbound from Chicago is more than 2 per mile. For loads going eastbound to PA or MD more like 3.
But the problem is with going the opposite direction.
But you make it sound like the current rates don't affect you at all.
That's very questionable that someone can make the revenue of 15-20 k per month working only 14 days a month in times like these. Especially, if you are talking about being closer to 20k and saying that that's easy.
I'd have to see it to believe it.

Miles per rate doesn't matter as much to me as rate per day. If I am out working, I can run 100 miles or 700 miles and as long as the revenue I expect for the day is hit is all that matters. Of course I would love to run 200 miles for 2000 a day.

Well it has affected me just like everyone. I do not get the same rates as before as I had to lower my standards from 2K to 1500 a day. Before I was easily making the 2K a day on almost all the loads I did. Now I struggle finding 2K a day but it is do able still if you work at it and understand the market area. I have a few places I get loads from that are multi drop loads and they normally pay better. I took time when I started out to learn the locations I go to and watch for better paying freight and regular freight.

Same thing myself, Joe, or anyway does. Same results. Still every penny needs to be calculated. Not just assumed. Bottom line is net revenue vs. time and aggravation invested. You’re not doing anything different than anyone else who’s been operating for any decent amount of time. The Law of averages applies. Just like it does to everything else. I seriously doubt you’re netting any more than anyone else doing the same type of Trucking.

I don't know anyone else numbers to confirm or deny. But it works for me and that's all that matters. As Long as I can pay for my New Truck and trailer and have money to pay bills and go out and gamble when I want I am doing just fine. If I did not go out and gamble I would be rich by now. Ha Ha.

Maybe the government does need to set rates. We should just go back to the old way. Then all these people who rely on brokers would have had their authority request denied. If you can’t show how you’re needed and have a customer to show. DENIED!

I guess they probably didn’t know how it worked before. The only reason they exist is deregulation, but they are screaming for more regulation. Smh.
