Poor me, I signed so many non-solicit agreements per broker-carrier contract that I would not find a single warehouse between here and El Passo.
Well, I know what you are going to say...I was not forced to sign anything...you right, you right...but please throw a dog a bone, why don't you?!

And in nature when they kill off their food supply, they die off also.

That is a Pi$$ poor excuse. In Chicago alone that wouldn't cover 1% of the freight there is.
    Give me another excuse.

    Siinman and Oxbow Thank this.

I think most back solicit policies just state that if you do back solicit any freight you gain from that you owe the broker 10% for a period of 12 months. So I don’t endorse it because it’s bad business it doesn’t prevent you from doing it.

    Siinman Thanks this.

I tell you what...you win. I can't argue with that!
I am ditching the old Volvo and the dry van and then buy me that Western Star and lowboy trailer, and off I go with the suit and tie...as handsome as I am, customers will be found.
Bye, Bye brokers, whoever you are!

Siinman and Jubal Early Times Thank this.

The 10% is less than he thinks a broker should make, so go for it.

Siinman and Jubal Early Times Thank this.

I never said anything about a Volvo and dry van. I said go do the work that you want others to do for a price you determine.
Yet you can't give a valid reason why you don't.

Siinman and Jubal Early Times Thank this.

This thread should be required reading for high school economics.

    Siinman and Oxbow Thank this.
