Would you guys get back to discussing rates and such instead of letting the thread turn into displays of temper and petty bickering?

Apologies.LameMule Thanks this.

It's not you. But...we can save it for next time.

We’ll, that’s no fun!!! haha
Broker bad carrier good
Carrier good broker bad
Pretty well summed it up.
JimmyTwoTimes and Short Fuse EOD Thank this. -
That is the Tql special posting loads in places they don't exist.. I have seen reefer loads out of the town I live in... ok there ain't #### here, and #### sure ain't any reefer product coming out of here! I have never worked with them and probably won't ever. Just the stuff I've seen them do is enough for me to block them.86scotty, God prefers Diesels and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

Update: Carrier stopped tracking and quit responding. Instead of being 1 day late tomorrow I’m assuming it’ll be 3 days late Monday. This is the kind of scum bag carrier antics that brokers have to deal with. Thankfully we have penalties built into the rate con that we’ll pass to the customer but customer doesn’t care as they wanted it delivered today. POS rampant in this industry on all sides.

What are your options as a broker in situations like that, where the carrier just completely screws the pooch and leaves you out to dry? Just blacklist them and move on ?God prefers Diesels and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

Besides penalties it’s blacklist and move on but is a major black eye to the customer which we serve with absolute perfection. There is a reason we pay higher then average rates in order to avoid this and use repeat carriers but sometimes you hit a dud like this that messes everything up. This is a repeat carrier sadly. I suppose we could go on freight guard or whatever it’s called but I try to avoid stuff like that.
My goal is perfection but especially in these times of undercutting, perfection is even more of upmost importance. I’d personally stomp their ### if given the chance to give you an idea of how upset over it I am.larry2903, Tigerfishinc, God prefers Diesels and 2 others Thank this. -
I can imagine. I would be super angry because u guys work so hard to secure those customers and provide top notch service to not lose those customers, then some jack ### comes along and threatens your entire reputation..
I definatly read your first post wrong. For some reason I thought u said u booked a load from tql and it wasn't where they posted. But now I realize it was the trucking company that pulled the tql special on you.. I never knew carriers did that type of stuff..God prefers Diesels and Midwest Trucker Thank this.
