If you want to run a coil antenna then get a Predator 10K and not a copy of a 10K. They range in price from $75 to $115 depending where you buy it and are worth every penny! I have had friends who have used the Browning and they hated them! They work but not nearly as well as the 10K.

Umm for that kind of money why dont you buy a wilson 2k, its alot better than one of those cheesey browning antennas. I do like the predator 10k and priced one at Bobs CB shop the other day and he had them for 75$.

Not meaning to be a butt head. But why would you spend good money on the radio then do the antenna half azzed? A cheap antenna will make a 100 watt radio sound like a 10 watt radio in a heart beat!

Using a cheap antenna on a good radio is like building a 1000 hp big block then putting a 2 barrel carburetor on it. It may run ok but you will never get all you can out of it!

If you do some research on them you will see that you dont have to spend $75 for a good antenna, there the same as most coil antennas just not the same money wise, go on sparks website he tested it too a wilson and got better results with the browning, Have you ever used one? or is this just something you herd from a friend of a friends cousins brothers friends friend like most people on here. I was looking for replys by someone that uses them not here say
