On my 3rd week at Oakley, I must say the Dispatchers suck, can't or won't pick up the phone in the afternoon, I think the close as he's been to a truck was the one he cut off at the exit ramp on his way to work!

I usually text my dispatcher and get a faster response than trying to call. Sometimes I bypass him completely and call Nick in recruiting and he takes care of whatever I need.
Overall though, I'm still happy to be here and I'm making more money than I ever have in my life.Mooseontheloose, trucker91 and WesternEmpire Thank this. -
I send emails for everything, unless I have no data connection. Then I send a text. And if he takes too long to reply, then I call.
I #### near never call. Been here almost two years and have no serious complaints.Mooseontheloose and trucker91 Thank this. -
they are extremely busy finding and organizing YOU loads, much better to text any questions or problems first

I do $3500-5500 a week now with the company I'm leased on with it's just intermodal and am getting tired of the NJ piers. -

I'd like to know what company that is. I've pulled intermodel as a company driver and once I bought my own truck I was going to lease onto a intermodel company but it didn't pay good.
I've been talking to Andy at Oakley but haven't made up my mind yet if I'm going or not. I want to clear, after all expenses except truck payment, at least $2600 a week with a 5 day week and get a couple days home. I live right off of I-20 about 11 miles from the Alabama line. Is this something that's possible? -
I see between $2500 and $3500 to my checking account every week running between 2100 and 3000 miles a week. I'm out three weeks at a time but I really only drive Monday thru Saturday morning. Then I take a long reset..
I'm doing a little better then $1 to the bank after expenses but before taxes. But it's mostly because I'm averaging in the 6's for my fuel milage and I have a pretty low deadhead percentage.
Could I run harder? I'm pretty sure I could. Do I want to run harder? Not really.Mooseontheloose Thanks this.
