12022 miles for may... Total miles. Not paid.
Line haul avg for those. 88 total with fuel 1.16 all miles ran.
They deadhead me to much... I'm going to pull my loaded and deadhead miles and compare them... But for the work I'm doing, this ain't good.

Easy turn around out of Dallas, back up to Wichita, KS.. Get a quick 34 reset in and then off to Ohio for a drop and hook load..

    Enjoying everyday!!

Tired, tired, tired!! Nasty storms through Illinois last night, sat through a tornado warning as it passed a few miles south of me.. We got a micro burst, I think.. 3 powerpolls where snapped and a tree downed across the street, felt like my truck was going to blow over.. Alarms on my phone every 15 min, this equaled little sleep..

But!! Made it to Ohio, dropped my trailer found my replacement trailer. Had to repair the mud flap from where the shag driver decided to park the trailer tires against the curb, that always tears the flaps off?? Lucky for me a quick 20 min fix..

Called dispatch, man they are bad this last week about answering the phone, after about 15 tries I finally spoke to a human just be told, wait.. Lol

About an hour later got a call with a p/u in Cloumbus , OH about 16,000 lbs with 4 stops.. 3 in Alabama, 1 target and 2 Wallmarts.. Last stop Middletown Ga.. Total of 860 miles, and payed $1,800.00 flat fee.. I guess after company and fuel I'll make a whopping $900.00 profit for 2 1/2 days work...

So what do I have in common with Bounty Paper Towels?? I'm starting to think where both the quicker, cheaper picker uppers!! Lol... Well her is to see the country!! Lol

Wish I was going through Joplin, Mo.. If I was I could get fuel for $2.26 a gal with our company discount.. I'd buy a few 50 gal barrels and fill them for that.. Lol

You have to love D.C.'s... Target had me there for almost 4 hours to unload 4 pallets and now I have sat at Walmart for almost 2 waiting for them to unload 2 pallets..

The broker on this load is interesting. Scheduled my second stop of 4 at 4:15 am and my 3rd stop at 6:00am.. The 3rd stop is 2 hours south? I would of had to leave 15 min prior to my 2nd stop in order to make this?? Do Brokers have no concept of travel time, or do they all think 3 inches on there computer screen means we can get there in 30 min?? Oh well here is probably to sitting around for an extra day!!

when I had loads that were scheduled like yours are, I would wait until I was completely loaded and rolling towards my first drop then I would call the broker and have him reschedule the drops that weren't going to make it.many times they're really easy to reschedule.
