Hay no problem.. When they called and asked if I wanted to go to Texas, I said for that pay I would love to, but then said, I know a guy who would probably like to get home to pack his truck.. Dispatch said your the only one we are showing on the board in that area, well Suprise there is a new driver also.. Hehe!!

I'm glad a few phone calls got all the bugs worked out and got him loaded and on the road.. I felt bad he was running into so may hick-ups.. If you guys ever have any questions, or need help myself and a lot of other drivers are here for you...

Well Scottied67, the best way to avoid that is be smarter than I was that day.. I screwed that up plain and simple.. I had been running too many loads being selfish and was tired and laxidazical that load and now I will have to pay for some of it.. Leads on learned, the hard way.. I'm still waiting on the bill for that, they will sale it and my insurance will pay the difference.. I'll eventually be out $1000.00 deduction from my escrow when it happens.. He office is working hard and fighting it on my behalf to try and keep it reasonable..

As far as Lumper, Washout as long as you get a receipt it is paid back.. Tolls, bridges and tickets belong to you..

You know your ready to come be with us, just take that step brother!!

Thank you! Sunday is actually our youngest daughter's 11th birthday, so now daddy will be home to celebrate with us. :) And it's a good start to his week so he can hopefully get home by Friday night to watch our oldest in the marching band for the last home game! It'll be nice for him to be able to swing by the house every now and then so he doesn't miss out on quite so much. :)

Hey, I wasn't lying when I said he's pretty awesome! :) He has 11 years driving, all accident/incident free, and has been a driver instructor with one company and a supervisor over a fleet of 40 trucks with another. When his recruiter called him yesterday to check in and George told him about the issues he was having, his recruiter was a little ticked, too. He told George that, with his record and experience, they are lucky to have him, so he doesn't want anything screwing things up for George. :) I am always telling George how awesome he is and how much I appreciate him, but it's nice when others notice and say something. I'm just a proud trucker's wife, haha!

And we really appreciate your help in this. He does get stressed easily because our family depends on him. So it's really nice to know that others have his back and can help talk him down and help get things back on track.

I guess I should give a regular update on what I'm doing..

P/U here in Chicago and taking a load to Salina, Kansas that delivers tomorrow.. Then beatfeet back to St. Joseph for a return trip back up to Wisconsin.. This will be a three stop load.. All three places I've been many times and love to go to.. I will end the trip in Milwaukee so it's a great area to find a return trip home by Tuesday next week for a reset...

You wish you had made 90k in 7 months....gross to the truck maybe. I did not go bankrupt and never said that I did. I saved my pennies and bought my truck outright so no lease. Yes I quit. No I don't have settlement sheets to share because I am a company driver now. My wife and I team and net more per week than you gross. Company paid insurance also. Roadrunners medical insurance is 650.00 -750.00 per month. Watch your settlements they like to accidently forget to pay for a trip now and then. Occasionally they will charge you for fuel you didn't buy. Oh and sometimes they like to run illegal and forget to pay there taxes in Oregon cause you to get a 450.00 dollar ticket. They tell you oops that was our fault just give us the ticket and we will pay it and the taxes right now. Then you find out 2 months later you have a warrant for your arrest out of Oregon ooooops. Then maybe they blame the whole thing on you and say you should have driven out there on your dime and fought it in court. But you said you would pay the fine cause it was your fault ooops. Thanks Doug Stubbs. My friends that did l/p through roadrunner got screwed much like you did because the equipment was garbage to begin with. They weren't offered a new truck bailout like you were. You know they spent their money on silly little things like repair bills until there was nothing left. Not shiny lug nut covers.
