My dads truck started making oil in kc he took it to freightliner up there somewhere and they said it probably needed an in frame done. He calls Aaron up....Aaron says we will finance your overhaul just get it back to Wichita. So he drives most of the way back and the engine quit running. They tow it to Detroit for the overhaul. When they drop the pan it is full of bearing material due to the coolant in the oil. They decide it needs a reman engine put in. Aaron says well we aren't going to finance that it cost took much. Had he got it done in Kansas city it would have salvageable. Aaron say by the way you still owe 15k on the truck so we will need you to keep making your payments. My dad ends driving a company truck for a year and pays his truck off. His truck was parked behind the shop with Aarons permission till he got it paid for. He was planning on putting an engine in it once it was paid for. Well come to find out they have been harvesting parts off of his truck while it was parked there. Including 5000.00 worth of tires that had maybe 2000 miles on them. They resold those to another l/o......you know there just a group of stand up guys that are always looking out for their drivers. The only reason they have drivers is because when most people start a new job they will stick it out for a few months to see if it gets better. All the while they are bringing in 5-10 new drivers a week. At one point they had 30 trucks abandoned at various truck stop all over the country. Probably just because none them were smart enough to run a business though right? This itaff guy is not telling the whole truth about this place and he knows it. That's why he gets so defensive when I say something about roadrunner. Ohwell enjoy

Itaff has posted when he's had issues, as well. It's not all butterflies and rainbows ANYWHERE you go! Sorry if what you say is true. However, there are always two sides to every story. I take everything with a grain of salt, weigh the good and the bad and then make my own decision based off of that, which is what everyone should do.
mountaingote, Bumper and itaff Thank this. -
Well JR.. It is apparent that you are cognitively challenged, and all I hear in your post is them, them, them... Sorry you had such a hard time but I guess Donald Trump sums it up best when he says, "Im a winner"..
See Bruenger could never make me run illegal, Bruenger could not get me to run a state without the proper permits. These if asked would be my choice, much like it could of been your choice...
Again not everyone will or can make it.. Most like you will blame your failures on others and say they are cultapable for there failures, taking no credit..
But the hard truth are the choices you make are the choices in your life are the choices you made..
Not everyone understands business.. I say I made $90,000 in 7 months, you say no you didn't, well maybe the truck did? As a business man I understand that if the truck made $90,000 that is my profit, I will pay taxes on that $90,000.. I will budget that into my business and and be responsible with what is left after personal income is paid (.36 a mile to self) and the rest will be sitting waiting to do an inframe if necessary.. I don't ask for pay advances and live inside my own means... I'm sorry I did not know you, I might of been able to share the keys to success..
You too might of been able to buy some flashy wheel covers... But best of luck it sounds like u need it..scottlav46, mountaingote and Bumper Thank this. -
Haha OK business man I wasn't going to call you out in front your fan club but it must be done. By saying maybe 90k to the truck I am saying gross revenue before expenses. Meaning out of that 90k came money for fuel, rent payments, tolls, taxes, etc. You add up all of those expenses, subtract them from your gross revenue. Then you are getting close to finding your profit. The expenses are the loss that you will write off at tax time. You will not pay taxes on 90k like you said because the whole 90 was never yours to begin with. It was spent before you got what was left over.
I did not run illegal for them intentionally. It was something I found out when the officer at the scale house ran their dot number. It was not about permits or anything that you would have known before hand.
I don't need your luck, or your sympathy. I have told you I am not the one that went under while at roadrunner. -
Sounds good, you should let go.. Your negativity here is really unappreciated.. Your calling employees who stayed and finished there ride with Bruenger "####" is sad.. Good luck, wish you the best!!RERM and mountaingote Thank this.

I said anyone who is worth a #### left a long time ago. Never called anyone"####". You sure do like to put your own twist on what others say don't you? Sad...........the word I left out would have started with a "d".......I posted on here my opinion about a company not you personally. You took it to that level and that is sad.....

Again good luck!! Best wishes!!

So an update on my husband. He came home late Saturday night, under a load that didn't deliver until this morning at 9am. He got to spend the day with us and celebrate our youngest daughter's birthday. I took him back to his truck around 4am this morning and he made his way to his drop off. Almost 7 hours after his appointment time, he is finally unloaded. They are going to work on getting him detention pay for that, and he is waiting to see where they send him next.
He's hoping to make it back home by Friday night for the high school football game to watch our oldest daughter's last marching band performance of the season. We'll see how it goes, as it depends on the rest of the loads he gets this week to see where we are at financially for the week. It's nice to have a little more control over that than he did in the oilfields.
itaff, Bumper and mountaingote Thank this.
